This policy explains what data the Fusion application ("the Application") collects when you connect it to QuickBooks Online, Shopify, or a courier account, why we collect it, how it is protected, and how you can have it removed.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your QuickBooks data to train machine-learning models. Data from one customer is never visible to another.
Fusion is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at support@availity.pk.
| Data | Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, company name, password hash | You, at sign-up | Creating and securing your account |
| OAuth access and refresh tokens, realm (company) ID | Intuit, Shopify | Authorising API calls on your behalf |
| Customers, products and services, invoices, payments, deposits, accounts, taxes | QuickBooks Online API | Matching records, avoiding duplicates, posting and reconciling transactions |
| Orders, line items, SKUs, discounts, shipping, totals, buyer name and delivery address | Shopify API | Creating the corresponding invoices in QuickBooks Online |
| Consignment numbers, delivery status, remittance and payment reference data | Courier APIs | Reconciling cash-on-delivery receipts against invoices |
| Sync logs, timestamps, error messages, IP address | The Application | Troubleshooting, audit trail, and security monitoring |
We request the minimum QuickBooks Online scope needed to perform these functions and we do not access payroll data. We do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or national identity numbers.
We process this data to perform our contract with you, and, for security logging and fraud prevention, on the basis of our legitimate interests. Where your end customers' personal data (buyer name, address, phone) passes through the Application, we act as a processor on your behalf and only on your instructions.
If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay and within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Application: our cloud hosting provider, our managed database provider, and our transactional email provider. Each is bound by contract to protect the data and may use it only to deliver their service to us. We also disclose data where required by law. Our servers are located outside Pakistan; transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses with those providers.
Operational data is retained while your account is active. When you disconnect the Application from QuickBooks Online, the stored tokens for that company are deleted immediately and API access stops. When you close your account, all remaining data for that account is deleted within 30 days, and purged from encrypted backups within a further 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage counts that cannot identify you or your customers may be retained.
Email support@availity.pk and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are confirmed in writing once completed.
We use only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
The Application is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we change this policy materially, we will notify you by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
